Personal Background

Dallas (DJ)

This memorial website was created in loving memory of our loved one .
Dallas Dwayne (DJ) Stewart JR. Who was Born in Hammond Louisiana on
September 24, 1987 and was raised in Independence and Albany, Louisiana
and was sadley passed away on April 2, 2007 at the age of 18.
Dallas Dwayne (DJ) Stewart Jr. Is sadley missed greatly by family and friends and will be remembered forever.

GOD CAllED YOUR NAME God called your name today and you went to meet him there. Upwards in the big blue sky to sing with the angel choir. The earth will hold your shell, but your essence still remains, we'll miss you physical presence, and it just wan't be the same. We know that youare in good hands... forgive our Tears below... You're soaring now with the Angels, where peaceful waters flow. "Goodbye" I will not say, for I will see you again , when at heaven's gate you greet me, and take me by the hand. GOD CALLED YOUR NAME TODAY, your pain on earth is ended, You're in a place of paradise, and your joy is just BEGINNING.... REST IN PEACE OUR DEAREST DJ WE ALL LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU..

.
He was a polite talented young man,
He was always happy and Just wanted to make other people laugh and smile and he did that task very well.
He  had a smile that noone can never forget.
He was the most loving giving kind hearted person we known.
There was 2 things you can reassure that DJ would not forget to do and that he wasn't ashamed of saying or doing is  to Say I LOVE YOU And give you a hug before he departed you..He never met a stranger always helping others that needed help . He made you laugh when you was sad and blue, he lifted your spirits high when times was tough he knew just what to say and then he always smiled and said things will be alright.
He was such a good young man and a christian. He played drums for the church and was in drama as well at New Haven.
He loved playing sports baseball he loved dearly,.We never knew someone  could touch you the way that DJ  did. He left an IMPACT  on so many lives.
Anyone that knew him knew how much he treasured his truck actually his Dads but he always called it his truck he was so proud of it and the funny thing he was so proud of the most was the rims, he would always make sure they was shinning even if his truck wasn't . His truck could be ful of mud but you know them rims would be clean and shinning that was DJ for you.. He knew that would give us all something to laugh about.. Another thing that was the most Important part In his life was his family His dad was his role model and his mom was his best friend and His brothers Cody and Brandon he was there rolw model they looked up to him for everything no matter what it was DJ was there for them no matter how big or how small the task was he got it done or fixed the problem for them,.. but He dearly loved his parents
He also had found his one true love Lynn she meant the world to him and he bragged about her all the time and he always said he loved the times that he got to spend with her that she made him complete and whole that there would never be  another that would ever hold a candle to her. He Loved Her Dearly..
We was all sad the day he died in that traggic  car wreck. We have never witness that many friends  family and people from all over coming to be with the family the night it happened and never in our life have we ever witnessed a wake and a furneral with standing room only and people that stood for hours just trying to get inside to pay there last respect..That shows he was So Special that he had  that big Of an IMPACT on other peoples lives ..
He truely preached his own wake a furneral by the love people showed ..
We know he is looking down On  us all smiling like he always did saying I Love you and I MIss You all can't wait to see you here In heaven, I'll be waiting by the gate to welcome you Home With my arms open wide with a great big hug to give you.. Just Look for me and you Know I will be SMILING greeting you in saying, Welcome Home, Welcome Home...
Please Lite a candle In Memory Of My Son DJ

Gone But Not forgotten!!
Dallas (DJ) Stewart JR.

wish to God i would gotten the pleasure to have known him better - Now that I hear all of the wonderful things about D.J and how good of a person he I wish to God i could have known him like you all did. Just hearing of what a conciterate, fun loving, and thoughtful person, without even knowing him personaly, makes me sad inside and tear up not getting the pleasure of knowing him. Me and D.J. are less than a month apart in age and to me it's not fair at all that we couldn't have grown up together and knew each other like 1st cousens like. To me it's not fair that just when i'm getting to know another side of my family one has to be taken. but i know in my heart God had a reason and he is in heaven in a much better place than we are,in the hands of God with much love. I just want to say im so sorry to all the people that got to truly know dj. Just from hearing about what kind of a person he was makes me sad i couldn't imagine knowing him like his close ones did! - from jennifer

IT'S BEEN A YEAR - It's been a year since you left the ones you love. It's been a year that you've been looking down on us from up above. It's been a year of constant reminder that you're not here. It's been a year of memories, sorrow and fear. It's been a year since that horrible night. It's been a year from when you walked into the light. It's been a year where we had to be strong everyday. It's been a year of unspoken words we need to say. It's been a year since we had to say goodbye. Where is the good in goodbye when all we do is cry? It's been a year that has changed all our days. It's been a year, and we've grown strong in so many ways. It's been a year where we know you're in a better place. It's been a year, and we still haven't forgotten your face. It's been a year, and we miss your smile. It's been a year of just imagining what it's like up there. It's been a year since he took you, it just seems so unfair. It's been a year, but we know you're doing alright. It's been a year of only seeing you in our dreams at night. It's been a year, and we want you to know that I love you, It's been a year. - from The Family

Sorry for your loss - Stewart Family; I happened upon this memorial site and saw Dallas's memorial. From one parent to another that has lost their son; I'm sorry for Dallas's passing. I too lost my son, Crawford, this last May. He was 18, too, and just 3 months from turning 19. The hurt and pain from his death is with me each and every moment of the day. He was my everything. My only child. I have made a memorial to him on another memorial website. If you want to visit you may see it at: virtual-memorials.com His picture is on the front page in the featured memorials. His picture is on the last row; the last picture. My son's name was; Crawford Carnahan. I share the grief of losing a 18 yr old son with you. My heart is a empty shell now as I'm sure yours is too. Maybe they have met in the hereafter and have become friends. We can only hope so. In their memories.................. Alan Carnahan - from Alan Carnahan
